I watched it on amazon prime and couldn't find it here so i went through the simple process of adding it so i could write a review. The documentary is interesting and basically answers the question poised in the title. There isn't anything new or particularly insightful in the documentary. So people that are big pink floyd fans won't find any new information here. But it was enjoyable to see the timeline of the band and the events that lead one of the most critically and commercially successful bands from the 1970's to crumble.
It is nice to see what people are doing in response to the coronavirus pandemic in terms of helping people get through it. There are many who are trying to open a youtube channel of their own and with smm world many can buy cheap youtube views. The social isolation people are going through to reduce the spread of the virus will be making people stair crazy so it is great pink floyd is making these videos available for people to watch. Even if you already have all these dvd’s, it is a nice opportunity to start watch parties on facebook and to stir up discussion about the videos and recordings on the pink floyd forum.

Pink floyd: live at pompeii is a 1972 concert documentary film directed by adrian maben and featuring the english rock group pink floyd performing at the ancient roman amphitheatre in pompeii , italy. Although the band perform a typical live set from the era, there is no audience beyond the basic film crew.
